Zimbabwe is quite large country with big opportunity waiting to be explored. About 13 percent of the land area, there is protected areas known as national parks or safari areas. For Zimbabwe, these areas are really important. They have potential business for tourism objects and for the whole national economy. If you have enough capital, you can do business in these national parks or safari areas. A kind of business which involved vehicles, services, maintenance or even people to do the job as guide or security.


Besides national parks, Zimbabwe has also agricultural business potential. The land is so wide and the opportunity to expand your business is there. In the 19th century many people come to Zimbabwe to work out the land. Now with the improvement in agricultural technology, the land can give more benefit for businessmen.


The business opportunity in construction area are also opened in Zimbabwe. Most of houses there are still built in traditional way. There are lot of chances to introduce building materials and other construction work there in Zimbabwe. Traditionally, people in Zimbabwe build their house with mud and water brick. It is cheap and maybe easy to get but also weak for good construction. Therefore for entrepreneur like you, maybe you can offer them a new brick which has the same value of money but giving more value to the building construction.

The goal of entrepreneurship: maximization of profit

A firm is considered to consist of a group of homogeneous individuals and it is entrepreneur less. The firm is assumed to be an entity that behaves rationally in the interest of the firm, and the interest of the firm is no other than satisfying the goal of the firm; profit and maximization of profit. Conceptually, since the firm consists of homogeneous individuals, then every individual in the firm should have the same goal of the firm, that is, the maximization of profit for the firm.Profit can initially be defined as revenue minus cost. If profit is to be maximized, it is logical to assume that the firm must do what it can to maximize revenue on one hand, and minimize cost on the other. Hence model builders started to build models to satisfy this assumption, despite one missing ingredient; people, the entrepreneur in the first place and in addition to the entrepreneur, the host of others who might be working in the firm.

Urban centers in Zimbabwe are divided into many areas covering low and high housing density for low income families. In some high density of population areas, Zimbabwe has water and power supplies. Buildings are built only with little artistic emphasis. Majority buildings there tend to be functional than architectural. The business opportunity in property and construction sector is still open there. You can offer your service as contractor for buildings, industrial, road and many other construction work. If you are having good ability in architecture, Zimbabwe has also room to be filled with architec. The idea of artistic for a building is still need to be proposed. If you can make a beautiful building there then maybe the opportunity to make another great building which is not only tend to be fuctional is possible.
